For a fossil-free future
Our goal is to become completely fossil-free. An independent assessment shows that we are almost there! That’s why we are continuously investing in more sustainable solutions that reduce our climate impact. We are proud partners of Fly Green Fund and Green Airport—two initiatives aimed at promoting the use of sustainable aviation fuel and reducing carbon emissions at regional airports. We have also signed the UN's Global Goals for a Sustainable Society.
By using up to 50% renewable fuel on all our flights, which is the highest allowable proportion, we reduce carbon emissions from our travel by up to 40%.

We are working on several other measures to stay ahead in the industry. At the airport, our machinery and vehicles are nearly all fossil-free. Lighting and ventilation systems have been upgraded to reduce energy consumption, and we only use green electricity at the airport. We also offer free electric vehicle charging at the airport and are proud to provide charging facilities for electric airplanes as the technology develops.

Fly Green Fund
Fly Green Fund is a non-profit organization that enables individuals, businesses, and public organizations to purchase sustainable aviation fuel, thereby reducing their carbon emissions. The goal is to initiate large-scale production of sustainable aviation fuel in the Nordic region, thereby reducing the climate impact of aviation globally.
Grön Flygplats
Grön Flygplats (“Green Airport)is a climate project that unites regional airports in Sweden with the goal of creating a future without emissions. We aim for fossil-free domestic flights by 2030 and a completely fossil-free Swedish aviation sector by 2045.
Our sustainability policy
1. Environmental considerations should permeate every part of our operations and those of our tenants, and be integrated into all decision-making processes.
2. Climate impact is the aviation industry's most important environmental issue and must be prioritized in our decisions and activities.
3. We will work towards improving the energy efficiency of our operations and drive the business toward a sustainable use of resources.
4.We will set the same environmental requirements for our tenants and partners.
5. We comply with our environmental permits, applicable environmental legislation, and other relevant national and international regulations and requirements.
6. All staff must be trained and actively participate in the company’s environmental efforts.
7. The environmental policy should be displayed on notice boards and in break rooms. It should also be available on the website and referenced in contracts.
8. We will assess and manage environmental risks in a systematic manner.
9. How we work on issues related to our environmental policy is outlined in local guidelines and environmental management within the quality management system QOMS.
