Security check
All passengers and carry-on luggage must go through security screening. To ensure a quick and smooth process, make sure your bag is packed correctly before arriving at the airport. On the Swedish Transport Agency’s website, you can find the rules about what you can bring in your carry-on and what must be packed in checked luggage.

Assistance and accessibility
If you have a disability or reduced mobility, you are entitled to assistance at the airport. If you are unable to move to an emergency exit in the event of an evacuation, you are considered to have a mobility impairment.

Booking assistance for passengers with reduced mobility
Notify the staff of any disabilities when booking your trip, or at least 48 hours before departure. You are entitled to bring two mobility aids free of charge in addition to your luggage.
If booking assistance less than 48 hours before departure, it will be treated as an unnotified request. This means the passenger is still entitled to assistance if space allows, but wait times may occur, as priority is given to pre-notified requests.
Be sure to arrive at the airport well in advance. There are designated meeting points at the airport where passengers can check in upon arrival to request assistance.
Passengers with visual impairments
For safety reasons, Västflyg cannot accept more than two visually impaired passengers, each with a possible guide dog, per flight. Visually impaired passengers will receive full assistance if needed. To ensure the process runs as smoothly as possible, it is important that the passenger, or the person booking the flight, informs Västflyg in advance.
